What IQOS in Nouméa really means

We put 6 units through the same routine on the same schedule: {} minutes a day, the same tank, the same draw. What follows is what survived, what changed flavour early, and what we would not recommend to someone in .

buyers tend to overbuy on hardware and underbuy on liquid. The hardware is cheap; the liquid is what you replace every fortnight. That single fact shapes most of the recommendations below.

What to check before you buy IQOS

• Batch code on the box: the IQOS sold in Nouméa should trace back to a dated production run, not an open lot.
• Seal integrity: a child-resistant cap that pops open in the post has usually been opened before.
• Liquid colour under the bottle: clear to pale gold is normal for a fruit blend; dark amber usually means it has been sitting.
• nicotine ceiling for the market. 6 is the practical cap here, and anything stronger is not sold legally.

How to choose the right IQOS in Nouméa

1. Then pick Ohm's law. Under 1.0 Ω points to a mouth-to-lung setup, above it you are in direct-to-lung territory.
2. Then price the fortnight, not the bottle. Coil life and ml of liquid tell you the real cost.
3. Pick your draw first. A mouth-to-lung pod rewards a higher nicotine strength and a thin liquid; a sub-ohm tank wants the opposite, and mixing them is the most common reason someone says flavour died early.

What it costs in Nouméa

A starter kit lands around XPF38. Refills run XPF13 for 30 ml, which works out to roughly XPF3.26 per 10 ml once you spread it across a month.

The honest number is cost per 10 ml of liquid plus cost per coil-week. That is the figure that separates a good price from a cheap one.

Shipping, dispatch and delivery

Standard shipping to {} runs {}; expressed is available at roughly double, which is rarely worth it for {} ml.

Signature is required on delivery above XPF153. Courier windows in {} shift around public holidays.

Mistakes that cost New Caledonia buyers money

• Buying the cheapest coil on the market. It saves a few units and costs you two weeks of taste.
• Using a 20 mg salt in a sub-ohm tank. The hit is enormous and the flavour is gone in three draws.
• Storing liquid in a warm drawer. Heat is what oxidises a fruit note, not time.

Rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-style rules with a local import permit. Product paperwork ships with the parcel, because a retailer in will ask for it eventually.
